Walnut Ridge Fire, Lawrence County Officers, Medic One and AET Ambulance were called to a wreck on Hwy 91 outside of Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle rollover accident.
According to Lawrence County Deputies, the vehicle lost control while traveling on Hwy 91 and overturned in a ditch filled with water. 2 adults and 2 minor passengers were in the vehicle, the driver and a passerby freed the remaining occupants as the vehicle filled with water. According to officers, all were wearing seatbelts. The occupants refused medical treatment on scene.
The accident was just one of three accidents worked by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office on Friday. Officers also worked an accident in Lynn and another in Black Rock.
