(Walnut Ridge, Ark.) – The sky is the limit at this year’s Beatles at the Ridge music

festival, thanks to a fly-in scheduled at Walnut Ridge Regional Airport (KARG).  The

airport will welcome air travelers to the only airport The Beatles ever visited in

Arkansas (September of 1964) and to the music festival on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Free shuttle service will be provided to pilots and their guest to and from the

festival in downtown Walnut Ridge Saturday, and the airport will offer discounts on

fuel.  The Parachute Inn restaurant, located next to the airport terminal, will be open

all day, and the Wings of Honor World War II Museum, adjacent to the airport, will

be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Beatles at the Ridge music festival opens Friday night, Sept. 20, and continues

through Saturday night.  It is one of the fastest growing festivals in the southern US,

offering free entertainment on three stage areas, and the event is a unique blend of a

country street festival and a world class music festival, featuring The Beatles tribute

Over 100 vendors are expected, and a wide range of food and activities will be
