Imboden Area Charter School Welcomes New Employee

Mrs. Elizabeth Scales is the new Administrative Assistant at the Imboden Area Charter School.

Mrs. Scales assumed her position on July 1. The administrative assistant is the receptionist who is

located in the front office of the school. She is responsible for answering the phone, taking care of the

bookkeeping for the school,  and submitting reports to the State Department. She also serves as the

lunch person and takes care of emergency first aide for bumps and scrapes.

Mrs. Scales has an Associate of Arts Degree from Black River Technical College and has served as a

Substitute teacher at the Charter School. Mrs. Scales has six children and has been married to John

Scales for 13 years. She has been an active member and officer for the IACS PTO. When asked what she

liked the best about working at the Charter School she said, “ I enjoy being around the children and

watching the interaction they have with the teachers.”
