Undercover Drug Operation by LCSO, Hoxie, and Black Rock PD Results in Arrests

On August 22, 2013 an undercover drug operation between the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Hoxie Police Department and the Black Rock Police Department results in the arrest of two suspects on multiple drug charges.

Information gathered by the departments lead to the issuance of a search warrant for a residence in Hoxie. All three departments worked together to execute the search warrant. Inside the residence the officers found meth, drug paraphernalia and firearms.

Arrested was David Madden (54) of Hoxie and Angela Ludwig (46) of Tuckerman.

Madden faces charges of two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (meth), simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, unlawful use of a communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ludwig faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both subjects were transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
