The late night camper fire in Ravenden reported this morning is related to the suspect in the Spring River propane truck theft.
The suspect apparently had warrants out of Missouri and fled after the Rone Valley camper fire, going through the woods and stole a propane truck.
The suspect then went on to Imboden where he wrecked the propane truck , abandoned it, and broke into a residence behind McLeod’s grocery . Then went on to steal another vehicle from that address and fled back into Missouri.

We will release more details as they become available.

On Thursday afternoon, the vehicle stolen from Imboden was reported to be in the Dalton area of Randolph County, the vehicle was located by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and released to the owner. The vehicle was said to have damage from an accident that occurred after it was taken from the residence. The incident is still under investigation.
