The Portia Picnic Committee has announced the schedule of events for the 108th Annual Portia Picnic. The Picnic will be open Tuesday, June 25th
through Saturday, June 29th. Miller Spectacular Shows Inc will be providing the midway attractions again
this year. Mr. Johnny Miller, owner, is pleased to announce armbands will be available for each night of the carnival. Armbands
may be purchased in advance for $15 and on the carnival grounds for $17. Advance armbands may be purchased at Portia City
Hall Monday June 24th through Friday June 28th from 8 am to 6:00 pm (cash only please). Advanced armbands may be used any
day the carnival is open. Advance tickets for Saturday will need to be purchased by Friday. There will be nightly entertainment as
well as the traditional Baby Show. Vendors are invited to call Portia City Hall for information on setting up booths. 870-886-
7897. Everyone is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs for the nightly entertainment at the Pavilion. Scheduled events are as

Tuesday, June 25
Carnival – 6pm to close Armband night
Band – Stormy Night Singers (Gospel, Country and Old Rock) 7 pm
Wednesday, June 26
Carnvial – 6pm to close Armband night
Gospel Music – Dan Duncan 6 PM
Thursday, June 27
Carnival – 6pm to close Armband night
Band – Bottom of the Barrel Boys (variety, fun entertainment) 6 pm – 8pm
Friday, June 28th
Carnival – 6pm to close – Armband night
Band – Lauren Richmond, Tyler Ogles and Calamity (Country) 6pm-8pm
There will be a $50 cash prize awarded to a lucky audience member at the end of the show. Must sign up between 6-7pm and be
present to win.
Saturday, June 29th
Carnival – 4 pm to close – Armband night
Baby Show – registration opens @ 3 pm, contest begins at 4 pm at the Pavilion. Will move into the old school building if it rains.
Baby show is open to babies 12 months and under. Dress is casual.
Entertainment – Party Time Productions (DJ/variety music and Karaoke) 5:00 – 8:00 pm
