Thomas Wayne Ashcraft Jr. , 27 of Cave City has been sentenced to 60 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections after being convicted on charges of Sexual Indecency With A Child by the Jackson County Circuit Court.

Ashcraft formerly faced Revocation of Probation in September 2011 in Lawrence County for failing to report to his probation officer on charges of Felony Theft of Property. Ashcraft was also placed on the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Most Wanted before being captured.

Ashcraft’s current sentencing stems from incidents dating back to 2009 when he was caught sending sexual text messages to a 12 year old female. Ashcraft initially denied knowing the female but later recanted and admitted to sending the messages. Ashcraft was cited into court in 2010 and was given 60 months probation and ordered not to date women with minor children and have no contact with minors. He was also placed on the Sex Offender Registry.

After appearing in court for his Revocation charges, Ashcraft was sentenced to an additional 12 months probation in 2012. In January 2013, Ashcraft again violated his probation by contacting another 14 year old female through messages and Facebook.

Ashcraft also applied for a wrestling license in Craighead County in January 2013 after he was instructed on several occasions by probation officers that he was not allowed in these type of situations due to the large number of children in attendance. Ashcraft used the stage name of “Playboy Tommy Wayne” during his brief wrestling career.

Thomas Wayne Ashcraft, Jr. or “Playboy Tommy Wayne” which ever you choose will be under the watchful eye of the Arkansas Department Of Corrections for the next 60 months.
