As the search for missing 14 year old Sidney Randall continues, the Walnut Ridge Police Department in conjunction with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office are currently planning a volunteer search for Saturday March 30th.

Volunteers are asked to stage at the Walnut Ridge Police Department at 9 am on Saturday, a briefing will be conducted by the Search Coordinator before teams are released into the field. Volunteers will be asked to search specific areas in the county. Volunteers need to sign in before being assigned a search area and need to notify the coordinator when the area is cleared.

“We need as many able bodied searchers as we can get, we have a large area to search. We encourage searchers with All Terrain Vehicles to bring them, they will come in very handy throughout the day”.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dive Team will be out as well, searching bodies of water in the county. Any searcher with a small boat is welcome to bring their boat and will be assigned to an area of water.

You can contact the Search Coordinator, Buddy Williams with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office directly at 870-844-2901. This phone number will now be used for volunteer search information for the duration of the case.

* If anyone would like to volunteer to search on Thursday or Friday of this week can also contact at the above listed number.

We ask if you use social media, please repost this for us and for Sidney, we need as many people as we can get for this search.
