On Friday evening, Ravenden Police Chief Tim McComas received a public service call about a driver all over the road on Hwy 62 headed towards Imboden. Chief McComas notified the Lawrence County Dispatch and as Sheriff’s Deputies made their way to Imboden, Chief McComas started towards Imboden attempting to find the suspect vehicle.

As officers arrived at the Hwy 62 and Hwy 63 intersection, they found the suspect vehicle had traveled through the intersection and was stuck. Officers described a heavily intoxicated driver still in the drivers seat, attempting to leave the scene.

Officers from the Ravenden Police Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police assisted with the incident, their were no injuries reported. The suspect was charged with DWI.
