Investigators in Sharp County have arrested and filed formal charges against Erskine Robert Stockard of Hardy for allegedly raping a female under the age of 14 years old. Investigators stated the man was giving the female driving lessons when he allegedly removed the keys from the vehicle and demanded the female undress and pose for various cell phone pictures, the victim also stated this is when the rape occurred. The female victim reported to police what had happened in the incident. An arrest warrant was issued for Stockard, during his arrest and a search, photos of numerous women in the nude were found on his phone including photos of the victim.
Erskine Robert Stockard was charged with two counts of rape, three counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of material depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
Sharp County credits the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division and the Jonesboro Police Department with assistance in the investigations.
