The Pocahontas Police Department has arrested a Missouri man after he robbed the Walmart in Pocahontas by claiming to have an explosive device.

Officers received several calls from the store and arrived on scene finding a suspect that matched the description of the alleged suspect. Adam Michael Queen, 24 of Grandin Missouri was taken into custody and is awaiting formal charges.

Pocahontas Police have not released information stating if the suspect had an explosive device, their were no injuries reported and the stolen cash was recovered.

Formal charges are pending.

Queen has a past criminal history, including charges of Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Impersonation after being arrested in Lawrence County in February of 2012.

Bond was set on Monday at $150,000. He has been charged with felony aggravated robbery and felony theft of property.

Queen’s court date has been set or March 11th.
