Sheriff Jody Dotson along with Debbie Burton, Lawrence County A.T.O.D. Coordinator visited the Imboden Area Charter School on Tuesday as a part of Red Ribbon Week.
Sheriff Dotson put on a program to inform the youth of the dangers of illegal and legal drug abuse. The students were show a power-point presentation with examples of illegal drugs and their effects.
Lawrence County A.T.O.D. provided Red Ribbons for students to wear for every school in Lawrence County.
Sheriff Dotson and Debbie Burton will be at Sloan Hendrix Schools for two programs on Wednesday and at Black Rock School on Thursday as a part of the week long program.
