Lawrence County Deputies Make A Meth Arrest Late Monday Night Near Portia

 
On August 27, 2012 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Goldman Truett (08/16/71) of Dexter, MO and Shawn Pridemore (07/26/92) of Shilechothe, MO for possession of a controlled substance (meth ice) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest came after deputies stopped the vehicle the subjects were in for a traffic violation near Portia. While speaking with the subjects the deputies noticed burnt tin foil strips in the vehicle that are consistent with meth use. Deputies asked the subjects if they had any illegal substances in the vehicle or on them. Both subjects said not that they knew of and gave consent for a search of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle deputies found a baggie of meth ice, snort tubes, a marijuana roach and more burnt tin foil strips. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
