At 10:10 am, Black Rock and Imboden Fire Departments were paged to 4699 Hwy 63 south of Imboden for a one vehicle accident.
AET Ambulance, Lawrence County Deputies and Arkansas State Police were also dispatched. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a Dodge Durango with heavy damage and one victim trapped in the vehicle. Imboden sent it’s Rescue 4 with extrication tools to the scene. Although trapped, all reports indicated that the victim only had minor scrapes and bruises. Firefighters faced very heavy traffic, Black Rock Firemen assisted with traffic on the scene as Imboden Firemen and medics removed the victim from the vehicle.
The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police. Deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office were on scene as well to assist.
The vehicle was removed from the scene by Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden.
