At 1:50 pm on Sunday, the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a two vehicle accident on Hwy 63 just north of the 3-way. Dispatchers sent the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Department, an ambulance from AET Imboden and a second ambulance from AET Walnut Ridge, along with Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Arkansas State Police.
 
The original caller stated there may be injuries involved, once Black Rock Firefighters arrived on scene, patient injuries were described as minor. Officers and firefighters remained on scene as wreckers from Walnut Ridge and Ravenden responded to clear the roadway. The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police. The extent of the injuries and cause of the accident are still under investigation.
