An investigation is underway and two suspects are in custody after two bombs described as “homemade chemical bombs” explode in Craigmont High School in Memphis.
 
A Bomb threat was received by phone followed by what staff is calling a loud explosion. The bombs exploded on the 2nd and third floor, an Assistant Principal was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and chemical irritation. The school was evacuated and dismissed for the day at 1 pm.
 
Memphis School System released a statement believing the act was a prank and described the two people in school as students.
 
The bomb was described as being made of some type of cleaning solution and aluminum foil.
