On March 04, 2012 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Hoxie Police Department arrested Eric Anglin (07/08/80) of Hoxie for possession of a controlled substance (meth ice), possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The arrest came after the officers went to Anglin’s residence to serve a warrant on a person that was supposed to be staying there. When the officers got to the residence Anglin ran out the back door and into one of the officers. Anglin became combative and tried to take one of the officers’ gun. Officers got Anglin under control and found a pill bottle with 3 bags of meth ice and 19 hydrocodone pills on him. Anglin was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
