Funeral Arrangements For Karen Johnson Swift Released

Funeral arrangements for 44 year old Karen Johnson Swift have been released. Visitation will be held at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas on Friday, February 10th from 5pm. to 8pm. Services will be held at the Church of God in Pocahontas at 1pm. on Saturday. The church is located across from McNabb Funeral Home.

Karen Johnson Swift went missing early on the morning of October 30th. Her abandoned 2004 Nissan Murano was discovered on Millsfield Highway with a flat tire. Swift’s body was not found until Saturday, December 10th after many searches of the area. Swift’s body was sent to the Shelby County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

What began as a missing persons case in October has turned into a murder investigation for the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation. the investigation is still ongoing, at this time no charges have been files in the death of Karen Johnson Swift.
