Sloan-Hendrix School is now celebrating Red Ribbon Week. This year’s nation-wide theme is “It’s Up To Me To Be Drug Free”. Monday was “Kick-off Red Ribbon Week” (wearing red). Tuesday was “Team up against drugs” (wear your favorite team apparrel). Wednesday is “Sock it to drugs’ (wear your craziest socks). Thursday is “Boot Out Drugs”(wear your favorite boots). Friday is “Greyhounds are ‘Paws’itively” Drug Free” (wear your Greyhound shirts or black and gold). The students will be given treats each day with drug-free messages on them. Students who participate in the dress-up days all week will be eligible for various Red Ribbon Week prizes.
