On October 12, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeremy Webb (08/12/77) of Black Rock for theft of property. The arrest came after a farmer from the Black Rock area reported that a former employee had been charging gas to his farm account and did not have permission to do so. The farmer noticed his fuel bill seemed a little high and went to checking the charges. $1,249.08 had been charged to the account by Webb. Investigators used the information to obtain a warrant for Webb. Webb was arrested at his residence and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
