At 9:53pm on Tuesday night the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was paged by the Lawrence County Dispatch to a two vehicle accident on Hwy 62 with injuries. AET Ambulance of Imboden was also sent to the scene.

 

Imboden was in route at 9:57pm with it’s Rescue 3 and Rescue 4 vehicles. Asst. Chief Jim Jones was one of the first on scene and reported the was no entrapment but there were two injured people. Imboden’s Rescue Trucks were on scene at 10:03pm.

 

At 10:10pm Asst. Chief Jim Jones requested an Air-Evac to meet the ambulance at Five-Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas for one of the injured. The accident was investigated by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was back in service at 10:18pm.
