On July 18, 2011 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Curtis Richey (11/15/74) of Imboden for theft of property and hindering apprehension. The arrest came after the theft of a generator and the arrest of the two subjects. Richey was implicated in trying to sell the generator at a pawn shop in Jonesboro. One of the subjects called and threatened to harm himself after learning the deputies had found out about the theft. The subjects were at Richey’s residence at Imboden and when deputies arrived all three hid in the house and then took off running into a wooded area. Deputies conducted a search of the wooded area and located the three. Information gathered was used to obtain a warrant for Richey. Richey was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
