Sheriff Jody Dotson announced today that tips via phone and the internet led to the arrest of a Ravenden Springs woman who was on the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Most Wanted Website.

Sheriff Dotson stated that he had received phone calls and e-mails stating that Dianna Cheatham was staying at a residence in the Ravenden Springs area. Sheriff’s Deputies from Lawrence and Randolph Counties checked the residence and did not find her. The deputies were then informed that she may be at a residence located on the Sharp/Lawrence County line.

Deputy Duston Walker of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Ravenden Police Department and Arkansas State Police went to the residence and arrested Dianna Cheatham. Cheatham was wanted by authorities for revocation of parole for drug charges.

Sheriff Dotson said he appreciates the tips from the public and credits the “Most Wanted” page and it’s readers for the information leading to the arrest.
