Ravenden Police Chief Tim McComas reports that at 6:30pm on Thursday May 5th he stopped a Black Dodge Intrepid traveling south with expired vehicle license.

Once stopped, Chief McComas discovered that the driver, Samantha D. Blackwood, age 38 of Jonesboro was driving on a suspended driver’s license. McComas also checked the passenger, a female from Walnut Ridge who also had a suspended driver’s license.

After running a warrant check on both, Ms. Blackwood came back with 30 warrants for her arrest out of Jonesboro and Craighead County. In addition to the current warrants, she was cited for driving on suspended driver’s license and expired vehicle license.

 Her vehicle was impounded by Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden, Blackwood was transported to the Lawrence County Jail by Cpl. Bobby Woods of the Ravenden Police Department.
