Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Levi Hardy Bradley of Ravenden for theft by receiving. The arrest came after a Minturn resident reported that their residence had been broken into on March 23rd and several items had been stolen.
A few days later several of the items turned up at a local pawn shop. A check of the pawn shop records showed that Bradley had been the person who had pawned the items. A hold was placed on the items at the pawn shop and the information was used to obtain a warrant.
Deputies received information that Bradley was staying at a residence in Ravenden and went looking for him. Bradley was located at the residence and was arrested without incident.
Bradley was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $5,000.00 and a Circuit Court date of April 27th was issued at a hearing on Monday.
