Shortly after 6pm on Friday the Lawrence County Dispach Center recieved a call of a vehicle fire on Hwy 63 south of Imboden, the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was paged to the fire.
 
Firefighters arrived along with AET Ambulance of Imboden to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. The driver and several children were out of the vehicle, firefighters helped remove a 4-wheeler and personal items from the burning truck. Imboden was able to put out the flames with it’s Rescue 4 truck but the damage was already severe.
 
No one was injured, the truck was towed by Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden and traffic was only delayed for a short period.
