Herb Garden Workshop
9am – 2pm
Registration Fee: $30 including a $10 non-refundable deposit by 2 weeks brfore the workshop begins.
Herbs have been used in everyday life throughout the centuries with cooking, medicines and more, carried from one continent to another by boat, hrseback, wagon, and foot, but most of us are completely unaware of them or take them for granted. Join us to discover the herbs in your life and how you can use them to improve your every day life. Green thumbs are not neccessary, but a reservation is.
Participants will receive:
1. Booklet with basic information about herbs.
2. Live potted herb plant
3. Herb butter sample
4. Herb vinegar or oil sample
5. Sachet bag for their closet or dresser drawer
6. A green salad to eat with lunch
Most of this workshop will be held indoors at the Powhatan Courthouse, but some walking/driving to the park’s herb garden will be requires. Class size is limited; please register by March 19th to reserve your space. 870-878-6765 or email powhatan@arkansas.com.
