Feb.2nd 2011, Shortly before 8am the Lynn and Strawberry Fire Departments were paged to the scene of a one vehicle rollover accident approx. 1/2 mile outside of Lynn on Hwy 25. AET Ambulance of Imboden, Lawrence County Deputies and the Arkansas State Police also responded.
The driver of the vehicle was Billy Brannon, Age 17 and a passenger Cody Brannon age 14 both of Lynn according to the Arkansas State Police. The vehicle was a 1991 Nissan truck, neither the driver or passenger were wearing seatbelts. The vehicle traveled across the roadway into the north bound ditch and overturned.
Witnesses stated that the passenger had been thrown from the vehicle, he was flown to Le Bonheur’s Hospital in Memphis by Air Evac, the driver was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital.
Lawrence County Deputies were on scene until 9:30am helping the Lynn Fire Department with traffic along with the Arkansas State Police investigating the accident.
